A quick introduction to us!

Spectrum Ecology's founders Dan Lock and Leigh Tuck have worked in Countryside Management professionally for the last 10 years and have held Natural Resources Wales bat licence for over 6 years. We both have a good level of knowledge and experience of the planning process within Local Authorities of Wales as well as the procedures in obtaining a European Protected Species Development licence from the Natural Resources Wales. We are based in South Wales but also cover Mid and West Wales.

Previous clients have included The Church in Wales, Bridgend County Borough Council and Coleg Sir Gar, as well as many private individuals seeking Bat reports and mitigation for Planning applications. We are able to able assist or manage small or large scale projects.

For further detials on the protection of Bats and their roosts and the consideration needed during the planning process further information can also be found here.
